Presentation

The main scientific focus of the group is the study of biomolecules in the single molecule regime. We are specially interested in: (i) the dynamics of individual membrane receptors in live cells, and (ii) the interactions between a protein and a single stretched DNA molecule. To do so, our tools include various optical techniques and the use of sensitive fluorescent probes such as semiconductor nanocrystals.
